Right next to the apartment, the Château de Tours, exhibition center and its famous TOUR DE GUISE which gave its name to our street and ... our gite.
A 3-minute walk to St. Gatien Cathedral, do not forget to visit the Cloister of Psalette.

We take again by the Rue de la Scellerie, with its antique dealers, and its art galleries, (do not miss the pretty gallery of Olivier Rousseau); and here we are at the Opera de Tours where you will be able to see and hear beautiful lyric and symphonic works.
Go back up the rue Jules Favre to discover the facade of the Hotel Beaune-Semblançay, vestige of the Renaissance architecture of the city.
To arrive at Saint Julien Abbey, rue Colbert. Behind the abbey you can visit the Musée du Compagnonnage.
Cross the Rue Nationale, shopping street of Tours, where you can take the Tram.

By pursuing rue du Commerce, you will be able to visit the Hotel Gouin, of the XVth century.
Here is finally our famous Place Plumereau and its half-timbered houses, classified by the Lonely Planet as being "the most beautiful Place de France to take the aperitif".

Then, back to the apartment, via rue Colbert, with its magnificent medieval houses

Our apartments are ideally located to visit the "Châteaux de la Loire".
The list of our Castles is long! There is of course the unavoidable Chambord, Chenonceau, Amboise, Azay the Rideau, Blois, Chinon, Langeais, but also smaller and less famous castles as charming as the Castle of Islette or that of Gizeux.
From here you can easily visit the Beauval Zoo, or simply our wonderful Touraine crossed by the Loire so majestic, by bike, car or train.
